Caribpure™ Pomegranate Butter
Pomegranate seed oil is a unique vegetable oil, due to the dominance in its structure of conjugated fatty acids - fatty acids with alternating double bonds. Its ability to lower the per-oxidation of other oils at a very low inclusion rate makes it a valuable natural stabilizer for cosmetic formulations. Because of its high levels of anti-oxidant activity due to its unique conjugated fatty acids, it will scavenge free radicals as they come in contact with the oil – making pomegranate oil feasible for use in anti-aging skin care products.
Caribpure™ Pomegranate Butter is made from cold pressed and refined oil from the dried seeds of the pomegranate fruit, Punica granatum, then mixed with a soft shea stearine.
